Fall Colors

Virginia Creeper leaf on the grass.

Beautiful yellow leaves and the Trinity river front in the background.

I love this tree in the fall!

Blackberry leaves yellow, green, and reddish hue.

Blackberry leaf in the autumn sunlight.

We have had a very beautiful fall and early winter. Hardly any rain, except the first week of October. Since then it has been quite wonderful weather, sunny and even warmer days in northern California. The trees, and bushes are turning colors and I took some photographs to share with you.

Maple trees are so pretty in the fall.

Japanese Maple Leaves, Fall Colors

I gave this Japanese maple tree to my mother a few years ago. The leaves are a brilliant, bright red color this month.

Random: Phil and Flowers in November

The other morning Phil the cat was in the yard with me for a brief moment. As I was petting him I noticed that there were some mushrooms growing in the corner of the yard. Also, some pretty flowers which were wet from the rain.

Fall Leaves and Colors, Trinity County, California

I took this photo of a young maple tree in Trinity County, it had actually turned colors back in late August. I do so enjoy the fall colors, that arrive with the change of season.

One of the photos I altered in Photoshop and used one of the artistic filters in the program. I tried a few and I decided that I like the drybrush filter.
