Power Chargers

I came across this article in Digg.com.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7819732.stm

Go here to Digg it yourself

http://digg.com/gadgets/Charging_Gadgets_Using_a_Magnet

This will change how we think about charging any household or any electronic item. No more wall outlets?

Upside Down House

I enjoy this house. It is upside down, inside and out.

This interesting house was designed by Polish partners Klaudiusz Golos and Sebastion Mikuciuk for the Edutainment exhibition company.

Carbon Markets

I did a paper on global warming and there is an excellent article about the industries which emit a large amount of carbon into the markets. It talks about creating a successful cap and trade market in the United States. I thought the authors took a complicated subject and make it easier to understand.

"Making Carbon Markets Work" Scientific American, December 2007
By David G. Victor and Danny Cullenward.

Dead Sea

It is never to late to enjoy the beneficial therapy of the dead sea. I found this picture on BBC News, in the Pictures of the Day. I would love to go to the Dead Sea!

Trinity Journal - 125 Years Ago

This is the best laugh I have had in some time. In the Trinity Journal Weaverville's newspaper there is a section called
"The News Back Then". They have back to 150 years ago.
Well, in the 125 years ago section, Saturday, September 15, 1883. There are a few sentences about what is happening in the town.

They talk about building work commencing for Trinity Center's

new school house. The next sentence and paragraph reads.

That is it. Just the one sentence. I guess the person writing that did not like Chico, CA.

Cell phones pop corn

This looks real. As I said "it looked real", but it is not! I found out it was staged!!!!! Not sure how you could stage that.
