HFC's High Fructose Corn Syrup


Last night I asked my mother to buy some breadcrumbs.
Well she did, and she got the Safeway brand.
Safeway is sneaky and not a very healthy choice. Anyone is better off paying more, for a better product.
One of the 3rd or 4th ingredients in their breadcrumbs is corn syrup.
They also have all kinds of other things in there package, that has nothing to do with bread crumbs.
They also put corn syrup in their breads, I have noticed.
Interesting twist, she also bought these molten chocolate lava cakes....
which are very sweet, and contain no corn syrup at all.
They seemed healthier than the bread crumbs. Lucky me!

Unfortunately HFC's is in many products that you would never expect it to be in. Sad but true!
I am a total label reader because of this and avoid many products due to HFCS.
