Pizza dinner at Marino's, in Weaverville.

This was delicious sausage and mushroom pizza from Marino's Italian Restaurant in Weaverville. The waitress said they made their own sausage and we tried it out. It was quite delicious.

Full Moon Rising over Mt. Lassen, Shasta County

The moon was beautiful rising up from the east behind Mt. Lassen. A little hazy and foggy today I noticed. Probably due to the heat, I think most of California was scorching today.

Moth, Whiskeytown Lake, California. What kind of moth is this?

I was at the lake and a little kid rescued a moth from the lake. He put the moth in the mazanita bush. It looks very interesting. It seems to be injured and maybe at the end of his lifespan. I tried to look up the type of species, but low and behold there are many many types of moths out for Shasta County alone there were 20+ types. I had no idea. So I thought I might be able to publish the photos, and see if anyone already knew.
