Chicken Ranch Beach, Inverness, Marin County

Father's Day was a beautiful day out in Inverness, on Tomales Bay in Marin County. The day was sunny, and gorgeous. This is a wonderful beach for children as it is flat, and shallow, and mostly just sand and sea shells. We took a trip across the bay also to buy some fresh Manila clams. They were absolutely delicous!

This last picture is of an Osprey diving in the water for a fish. He dove down quite a few times but we never saw him come back up with a fish. After reading some I find out that they are known for being in the Tomales bay area.

Everyone's Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have a weakness for Chocolate Chip Cookies and I like to put walnuts in them. I made these just the other day and someone told me they were the best chocolate chip cookies they ever had.

Tacoma the Cat goes for a walk.

I usually take Lily the dog for a walk. Last week she had up to three walks a day so I thought it was the cats turn. She loves to go walking and far too. She will walk quite a bit. She stops every few seconds and listens as if there were some grave danger every step we take. She is a hilarious cat!

Ruffino Chianti Classico - A classic red wine.

Celebrating a family get together we had a nice dinner the other night and with that we had a classic red wine, that I purchased for my mother. It is a old time favorite, Ruffino Chianti Classico. A classic addition to any meal.

Trinidad and Tobago

One of my most memorable trips anywhere was to Trinidad and Tobago. It is most enjoyable due to all the beautiful beaches there! Here are pictures of Tobago followed by Trinidad.

Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco

Some pictures from my database of digital photographs. These were taken a few years back from a trip with a good friend to the Presido park near the Marina District. Do you remember that? :-) The park is lovely and view of the bay is spectacular.






These particular photos were taken with an old Fuji camera, at the time the lens was somewhat damaged.

The last photograph is another day with the same camera and take from Treasure Island. This was a separate trip and Treasure Island has a wonderful view of San Francisco.

All the photographs have small discrepencies the camera had problems. If you notice how the horizon is warped. I have many lens warped photographs from this camera. You can correct this in Photoshop.

Birthday Cupcakes

I made my Mom cupcakes for her birthday. They were chocolate fudge, melted chocolate, and some had white cake too, and all had fluffy white frosting. They were delicious well to me at least. That one guy who said the frosting tasted like toothpaste did not like it so much. He said the bread was good though, he meant the actual cupcakes. Priceless!

The frosting is a family recipe, and does not use powdered sugar, but regular sugar and egg whites. I have decided that it is not meant to use as a decorating frosting,. It does not travel well at all either.

Trinity River, Spring

The Trinity river is so full right now. It was so green and very fast moving. It has gone down a little since these photos were taken. It looks very cold.

California Bald Eagle flying over TrinityRriver

A couple months back I was following the eagle along the river. He went behind the mountain, and I thought he was gone. Shortly after, he swooped right over me as I was at the river, I was so surprised that I barely got a picture. His wing span seemed very wide.
