Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, with lots of food and good company. My aunt and uncle hosted and it was a beautiful Thanksgiving spread as usual. She is amazing, what a meal! Everyone brought some wonderful dishes in addition. Check out the cute pilgrim hat cookies!

Snail and Orange Crayon

This series was taken some time ago. I found the snail and the crayon there on the front walkway and thought it was peculiar and funny. I have no idea where the crayon came from.

Angelo's Cucina Trinacria

If you are in the Chico, CA area and want some excellent Italian food I recommend Angelo's Cucina Trinacria.

You will not be disappointed. A couple of my favorite's are calamari originale, and chicken picatta. Delicious!

Remember To Give to the Hungry this Holiday

Anderson Cooper wrote about 1 in 8 being hungry in the U.S. from last year's statistics.

"That’s 12.2 percent of the population – one in eight Americans.

Among them . . . some 691,000 children." Below is his blog link.

Fog in the Morning on the Trinity River

The Trinity River has many cool and foggy winter mornings. These pictures were taken on Veterans day morning. Some days it stays foggy here while the surrounding areas are sunny and blue skies.

Turtle Bay Exploratorium

These are a couple photos that I took of the red tail hawk at the Turtle Bay Exploratorium. They have feedings daily where you can watch the birds being fed. This was a rare occasion when the trainers were with the birds. They were out in the main walkway.

November

It is hard to believe November is here, and time to turn back the clocks. The past two days have been rainy and cloudy in Redding, California. A nice change after all the sun, heat and fires. Here are some pics from last year at my parents house. I love the trees! I camped under those trees as a child. This is Lily's favorite place I am sure.

Carbon Markets

I did a paper on global warming and there is an excellent article about the industries which emit a large amount of carbon into the markets. It talks about creating a successful cap and trade market in the United States. I thought the authors took a complicated subject and make it easier to understand.

Halloween Pumpkins

Halloween was not as busy as usual in the neighborhood. It was a little wet and cold I suppose.

I did manage to carve a pumpkin, with the help of the neighbor girl, she drew it and I carved it.

Thanks!!!!
